MISSION SUPPORT

HOW WE SUPPORT MISSION

St Paul's church supports missionary work in the following ways

  • We give away 20% of our income to mission organisations and individuals.

  • We take regular thanksgiving offerings in support of mission work

  • We support members of the church (practically, spiritually and financially) who are called to overseas mission, either for short-term trips or longer term

WHO WE SUPPORT

We support a range of missionary organisations and individuals both in Jersey, the UK and overseas

    • Mozambique

    • Australia/Papua New Guinea

    • Romania

    • Democratic Republic of Congo

  • We feel a particular calling to support the persecuted church. As well as a regular prayer group for the persecuted church, we support the work of Open Doors.

  • In recent years, we have supported younger members of our church to go on short term mission trips overseas. This has included people working in Cambodia, Australia and Belize. A lot of this work has been with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
